NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Ladies, that guy you dismiss as “not your type” could actually be The One.

It happened to dating coach Andrea Syrtash with her husband, who she originally considered just a friend. She “accidentally” fell in love with the “goofball” after realizing she’d met her match.

Syrtash believes women get too caught up in following a “superficial checklist” of what they think they want in a man.

Often times, a woman’s “type” is actually not her type at all, and a “non-type” – or unlikely match like Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher – can lead to long-lasting love instead.

Syrtash says a perfect pair should have some common interests, but it’s really about that “deeper connection.”

Still, she admits she really fell for her “non-type” hubby when they discovered their mutual love of Three’s Company.

Her advice on finding unlikely love is in her new book, He’s Just Not Your Type (Rodale), out April 27.
