Collector Turns Down Nasty Memorabilia

Marilyn Monroe may be hot, but no one wants to buy her old pap smear sample.

MINNEAPOLIS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Not everything that’s been touched by a celebrity is meant to be collected.

Just ask Michael Kronick, founder of Startifacts, a memorabilia store that sells all kinds of weird, very personal celebrity stuff.

Though Kronick has bought many strange items over the years – including Frank Sinatra’s toupee, Elvis’ bejeweled jockstrap, a suicide note written by Michael Jackson, and drug syringes belonging to Kurt Cobain – he has to draw the line somewhere.

He’s been offered endless celebrity items that were far too “disgusting” to purchase and resell.

That includes a pap smear sample taken from Marilyn Monroe, the dress murdered actress Rebecca Schaeffer was buried in, and Unabomber Ted Kaczynski’s underwear.

He’s also turned down buying “creepy” memorabilia like the bunk beds members of the suicide cult, Heaven’s Gate, killed themselves in, and serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer’s fridge “he kept all the body parts in.”
