Rent Poncho-Clad Midgets For Cinco De Mayo (May 5)

These little guys will dress up in ponchos for Cinco De Mayo (May 5) fiestas -- but NO sombreros with chips and salsa.

Chris Fetterer runs Tiny Entertainment, a company that rents out midgets to parties and bars.

His crew has several Cinco De Mayo gigs this week, where they’ll show up in tiny ponchos, sombreros, and fake moustaches to celebrate the Mexican holiday.

Many bars have hired them to walk around pouring tequila shots down patrons’ throats, just like waiters do in Tijuana.

The mini men will do whatever it takes to keep the party going – except wear giant sombreros filled with chips and salsa.

Fetterer says that task is degrading, and reduces his guys to a “piece of furniture.”

He argues that the messy stunt “sounds better on paper than it actually is” because salsa drips everywhere.

Plus, with stuff on their heads the dwarfs can’t show off their real party tricks, like one guy who can kick himself in the head with both feet at once.
