LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) Wherever Susan Sarandon goes, it seems like Frank Sinatra follows. The A-list actress recently explored her family lineage for an episode of NBCs Who Do You Think You Are? airing this Friday (Apr. 23), and found a strange connection to Frank Sinatra.
A next-door neighbor of her long lost grandmother, Anita, told Sarandon that her grandma had talked to Ol Blue Eyes and possibly even dated the famous crooner.
Sarandon found the discovery hilarious because growing up, her mother played Sinatra music non-stop in their house.
She says, It was the ONLY music I ever heard, over and over again.
Needless to say, her mom was thrilled at their Sinatra family ties.
But personally, Sarandons favorite finding was learning what a strong, tenacious woman her mysterious grandmother really was.
Turns out Anita who Sarandon physically resembles got pregnant when she was only 12 and had her children taken away, but still managed to make a happy life for herself.
