Man Hopes To Set World Record For Ebay Sales

NORWOOD, Pa. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A world-record-holding animal trainer is barking up a new tree to set several online internet records.

Armand Rabuttinio – who “retains” the Guinness Record for dog training – and his business partner, Rich Parker, are attempting to set new Guinness Records in three categories: The most individuals having participated in an eBay sale; The most individuals having participated in an online record attempt; And the most countries having participated in a world record attempt.

They’re planning to do it with one eBay sale which started Tuesday (Jan. 25). For three dollars, bidders get their name on Rabuttinio’s website and the satisfaction of knowing they participated in something big.

Rabuttinio says, “A lot of people want to be part of something, but don’t have the opportunity.”

He’s hoping to reach 10,000 bids, the maximum number of bids eBay allows on one sale, and while that might sound like a big profit from the event, Rabuttinio says after paying the eBay fees and other taxes, they aren’t making that much.

So far, three bids have been made and the auction ends Feb. 4.
