Jimmy Fallon Practices For ‘Late Night’ Debut

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Jimmy Fallon is gearing up for his late-night hosting gig by interviewing his wife and pals.

The SNL alum takes over Conan O’Brien’s Late Night chair on NBC beginning March 2, and hopes to make his guest stars shine.

To prep for the big gig, Fallon has been doing test shows with his friends, like SNL comedian Fred Armisen, who posed as an unruly guest to test Fallon’s interviewing skills.

Fallon has also been putting his wife through intense Q&A sessions in the morning, interviewing her about her plans for the day.

Since guest interviews will be a huge part of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, he’s following Conan O’Brien’s advice about keeping the conversation flowing.

Fallon says, “Conan told me, ‘If you don’t get the interviews down, it can get weird.’”

For his first live interview, Fallon will sit down with Robert DeNiro – one of the toughest interviews in showbiz.

He figures it’s good to get the most intimidating one out of the way first.
