HOLLYWOOD (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Singer Sheryl Crow is joining the ranks of Sheena Easton, Shirley Bassey and Carly Simon as the latest songstress to pipe out a theme song for James Bond.

Crow will be “crowing” the title song for the upcoming Bond flick Tomorrow Never Dies, which will be released in theaters in December.

Music insiders describe the theme song as jazzier than Crow’s usual material but in the tradition of classic Bond tunes like “Goldfinger.”

Incidentally, Crow was born the same year the very first Bond flick was being filmed – 1962. The film was Dr. No and starred Sean Connery and Ursula Andress.

Although Tomorrow Never Dies won’t be in theaters until December, you’ll hear Crow’s song much sooner because it’s scheduled to be released to radio stations next Wednesday (Nov. 5).
