SHORT HILLS, N.J. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Is The Jerry Springer Show turning college students into hardcore alcoholics?

A new drinking game inspired by the show is the latest fad at universities across America where students are clicking on the TV and kicking back the booze.

Here’s how the game works: whenever a fight breaks out on the show, players must drink a shot of beer. If a wig is pulled off one of Springer’s guests, they must drink again. Whenever a guest brings flowers or an engagement ring onto the show, it’s time for another shot.

If the guest hits someone with the flowers, take another swig. If a Springer guest mentions the talk show’s theme, such as “You’re Too Fat To Do Porn,” everyone must slam a beer. The players must also guzzle beer every time a censor’s beep is heard.

The Jerry Springer drinking game is the brainchild of 19-year- old college student David Levy of Short Hills, New Jersey.

Levy says the high-consumption booze game can be quite demanding so he recommends having a non-drinking designated channel surfer on hand to control the remote.
