LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) Adjusting to Daylight Saving Time this weekend doesnt have to keep you up nights in fact, it can be downright pleasurable if you have lots of sex and french fries.
Dr. Ray Sehelian, a Los Angeles-based sleep expert, says having intense sex about an hour before falling asleep on Saturday can help you adjust to the hour of sleep you will lose thanks to Daylight Saving Time which starts Sunday (Apr. 4).
The sex must be intense enough to increase your bodys supply of oxytocin, a chemical known to help sleep. Vigorous exercise will also do the trick if youre bashful or celibate.
Loading up on carbohydrates like french fries just before falling asleep can also help your body adjust to the time change. Sehelian also suggests watching sitcoms because laughter releases pain-killing endorphins, which help the body relax.
If none of these natural methods help your body clock adjust to Daylight Saving Time, Sehelian recommends taking one milligram of melatonin three nights in a row.
