CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be one of those big guys hired to break up fights on The Jerry Springer Show?
Well, Springer show Security Chief Steve Wilkos says it’s a lot of fun, even though he has to hurl himself in the middle of six or seven fights each show.
Wilkos – who is a Chicago policeman when he’s not breaking up TV talk show tantrums – says he uses different techniques to subdue a guest depending on if the loudmouth is a man or a woman.
He disables angry male guests by grabbing them from behind and pushing them down. If a woman gets out of hand, he stops them by squeezing their wrists to keep them from pulling anyone’s hair.
Wilkos says shows with transsexual guests are the worst, because they can throw punches AND pull hair.
