FAVERSHAM, KENT, England (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) The Di is being cast for a 12-foot-tall statue of the late Princess Dianas head.
The giant head is the idea of sculptor John Houlston of Faversham, England, who says he wants to create the huge noggin out of either white resin or bronze with a silver coating.
He hopes to complete the piece by the end of the summer and says when its done, the finished head will probably have a rough texture to prevent it from looking too smooth and ...too much like Disneyland.
Houlston will donate the plus-size Princess to one of Dianas favorite charities: the National AIDS Trust in London.
The AIDS Trust says it hasnt yet decided what it will do with the giant head, but odds are it will probably be displayed for the public to admire.
