NEW TESH TUNE MAY REPLACE ‘YOU LIGHT UP MY LIFE’ AS WEDDING STANDARD

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Musician John Tesh is now branching out into pop love songs. Tesh has just recorded his first pop tune, called “Give Me Forever (I Do),” which features a lead vocal by James “Just Once” Ingram.

Tesh says the song is about a man pledging his love to his new bride, and features lyrics like: With this ring I’m bound/And I promise I’ll never let you down and I see you and I together in life/So there’s nothing I wouldn’t do/To make you my wife.

The tune is a tribute to Tesh’s wife Connie Selleca, with whom he is notoriously sappy. As proof, even though the couple got hitched more than five years ago on April 4, 1992, Tesh still gives Connie flowers on the 4th day of EVERY month.

Tesh’s publicist, Scott Seohim, predicts the tune will become a new wedding standard just like Debby Boone’s “You Light Up My Life.”

“Give Me Forever (I Do)” is the first single from Tesh’s upcoming album Grand Passion, which will hit stores January 27.
