NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Bowling may be catching on with baby boomers, but their kids can’t stand the sport.

When kids between the ages of 8 and 12 were asked to describe what gifts they think would be “uncool” to receive this Christmas, 51 percent said a bowling ball is the “least cool” gift they could think of.

The survey – conducted by Zandl Group marketing – also reveals that 49 percent of kids don’t want any Winnie The Pooh merchandise this Christmas.

  • 47 percent say they’ll turn up their noses if they’re given tickets to a wrestling match and 39 percent say they don’t want to find the Hanson’s Christmas Album in their stocking.

  • And, finally, 27 percent of kids say Spice Girls concert tickets are definitely uncool and 21 percent think Jim Carrey videos are no longer in style.
