TEENAGERS SAY MICK JAGGER WILL BE MORE IN TUNE WITH ROCKING CHAIR THAN ROCK IN 2028

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The Rolling Stones have been rolling for 30 years – but American teenagers are doubtful the band will be around 30 years from now.

According to a new pop music poll by Northwestern Mutual Life insurance, only 1 percent of teenagers think the Stones will still be rocking in the year 2028 when Mick Jagger will be 84 years old.

6 percent of the teenagers says the two bands most likely to be around in 30 years are Boys II Men and The Dave Matthews Band.

  • 4 percent think a 66-year-old Garth Brooks will be performing in 2028.

  • 3 percent think U2 and Metallica will still be around.

  • Less than 2 percent think Michael Jackson or Aerosmith will be performing.

  • And, finally, only 1 percent think 58-year-old Mariah Carey, 70-year-old Madonna, or 65-year-old Whitney Houston will still be singing when 2028 rolls around.
