CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) A new study suggests that women are sexually aroused by inhaling the aroma of Good & Plenty candies.
The study conducted by the Smell & Taste Treatment And Research Foundation in Chicago reports that women who sniffed the candies experienced as much as a 13 percent increased blood flow to their sex organs.
Other smells that women find sexy include cucumbers, baby powder, lavender and pumpkin pie.
The least arousing scents come from cherries and meat barbecued over charcoal which actually reduces a womans sex drive by as much as 18 percent.
Study director Dr. Alan Hirsch says the new findings may lead to smell-based treatments for sexual arousal disorders.
Dr. Hirsch will present his findings on March 11 at the American Psychosomatic Societys Annual Meeting in Clearwater, Florida.
