COUGH SYRUP MAY BE INEXPENSIVE CURE FOR INFERTILITY

PHILADELPHIA (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Over-the-counter cough syrup may be good for more than easing coughs – it may help a women increase her chances of getting pregnant.

According to fertility specialist Dr. Jerome Check of Philadelphia, cough syrup can help thin out the mucus in a women’s cervix that prevents sperm from reaching its target.

Check says small doses of cough syrup work in about 20 percent of the infertility problems caused by sticky cervical mucus.

Although the cough syrup cure only works in one out of five cases, Dr. Check says there’s no harm if a woman wants to sip a little cough syrup each day to improve her chances of getting pregnant.
