NEIL YOUNG’S BROTHER SAYS ‘IT’S HARD TO HAVE A FAMOUS ROCK STAR BROTHER’

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Sometimes it ain’t easy being a big rock star’s brother.

That’s according to Bob Young, Neil Young’s biker brother, who’s trying to raise money to create a Woodstock-style concert called “Bike-Stock” that will take place during the annual Daytona Bike Week in March.

So far, Bob’s having a devil of a time getting investors to fund the project. It seems the investors want Neil Young to invest some of his own money into Bike-Stock.

But Bob says he won’t ask Neil for a dime because if the concert is funded he wants Neil to perform – and he says asking a performer to invest in their own show is bad business.

In the meantime, Bike-Stock ’98 could be on the rocks if Bob doesn’t raise enough money by the end of the year, so he’s asking bikers from all over the country to donate to save the show.

For $20, anyone can become a part of the “Bike-Stock Charter Members Club,” which guarantees them a first crack at the concert tickets.
