PAROWAN, Utah (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Interest in bomb shelters may soon explode thanks to the new Brendan Fraser movie, Blast From The Past.

The movie concerns a family that spends 35 years in a bomb shelter, and Utah-based bomb shelter expert Leland Freeborn hopes the flick will renew interest in bomb shelters.

Freeborn claims America needs bomb shelters more than ever because he’s sure Boris Yeltsin is about to order a nuclear attack on the U.S. to take the spotlight off his illnesses.

According to Freeborn, a decent bomb shelter can be built in two days and stocked with supplies for as little as $500.

Although Blast From The Past is being marketed as a comedy, Freeborn says the film could get Americans interested in bomb shelters and, consequently, save millions of lives.

Blast From The Past opens Friday (Feb. 5).
