SEARCH IS ON FOR LONG LOST CAR STARS OF ‘AMERICAN GRAFFITI’

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The 1973 movie American Graffiti made stars out of Harrison Ford and Suzanne Somers – but just as many movie fans remember the cars they drove.

Now a nationwide search is on to track down those old classic cars in honor of the film’s 25th anniversary.

The search is being conducted by a San Bernardino, California, car club which wants to induct the classic cars into a “Cruisin’ Hall Of Fame.”

The missing cars include the 1956 white Thunderbird driven by Suzanne Somers, the 1958 blue Edsel coupe with white accents driven by Cindy Williams, and the 1955 black Chevy driven by Harrison Ford.

The Cruisin’ Hall of Fame also hopes to find the 1958 white Chevy Impala driven by Ron Howard and the yellow open wheel Deuce Coupe driven by Paul Le Mat.

Anyone with information about the cars can call (909) 899- 3980.
