HOWARD STERN MOVIE CAUSED INCREASE OF NAKED PIZZA CUSTOMERS
NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) 1997 was a weird year for pizza
sales.
According to Dominos annual Pizza Meter survey, pizza
sales dropped 11 percent the day after Mike Tyson bit off
a chunk of Evander Holyfields ear.
Dominos says its late-night pizza orders increased 21
percent the night Murphy Brown smoked pot and 77
percent of those folks ordered the works.
The day after Howard Sterns Private
Parts opened in March, Dominos claims 62 women across
America answered their door topless when the pizza guy arrived.
The number of kids answering the door in sunglasses
jumped 45 percent the week after Men In Black opened.
And, finally, Dominos says Marv Alpert was
this years most popular fake name for pizza orders,
followed by Janet Reno, King of The Hill cartoon
character Hank Hill, Dr. Kevorkian, and Frank
Gifford.
