ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (Wireless Flash) – New Jersey resident Linda Ostroff isn’t bobbing for compliments – she’s just looking for a few good “Bobs.”
Ostroff is trying to gather together at least 4,000 “Bobs” to set a Guinness World’s Records for the largest gathering of Bobs in one spot.
The feat will be attempted next month in Atlantic City, but so far Ostroff says only about 1500 Bobs have RSVP’ed to her “Hob Nob With Bob” party set for May 30.
If you’re named “Bob” – or any variation of it like “Robert,” “Billy Bob,” Bobbi Sue” or “Roberta” – you’re invited.
Ostroff says a ticket to the event costs $15 – and for a little extra you can get a shish-keBOB dinner.
