BRIDGEPORT, Calif. (Wireless Flash) A hotel in central California is becoming a popular meeting ground for humans and ghosts as long as the humans dont play any jazzy music.
The jazz-hating ghosts are residents of the Old Victorian Hotel in Bridgeport, where hotel owner Jean Courtney says guests are often surprised when their tape decks or radios are suddenly turned off by the spooks.
The ghosts also trigger rocking chairs into motion and, for some unknown reason, yank blankets out of the hotels bedrooms and haul them to the downstairs lobby.
Courtney says the ghosts appear to be friendly and some guests actually make reservations to come back just to reunite with their ghostly pals.
Its believed the spooks haunting the hotel once lived in a ghost town where the hotel was originally stood before it was transported to its present location at the turn of the century.
