CINCINNATI, Ohio (Wireless Flash) – How’s this for an American revolution? George Washington will soon be joining the ranks of G.I. Joe as an action figure.
The Hasbro toy company says the new George Washington doll features the father of America wearing an authentic Continental Army outfit including a tri-corner hat with brooch, khaki breeches, a blue and tan army jacket and matching vest.
George will also be able to kick G.I. Joe’s butt: he’s armed with a sword and pistol and a map of colonial America.
Hasbro says the $50 George Washington doll is the first of a line of dolls dedicated to military heroes which will include Colin Powell and – oddly – Bob Hope and Steve McQueen.
