LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) -- The man who designs the eating challenges on the reality show "Fear Factor" says contestants are able to stomach a lot more than they used to.
Scott Larsen -- who has worked on the show for three seasons -- says at the beginning of the show, "eating three night crawlers was a big deal, but now it takes a lot more to gross people out."
For instance, Larsen says challenges like stomping on spiders and drinking the resulting liquified guts are the only kind of stunts these days that elicit the same vomit- inducing reactions seen in the first couple of seasons.
In his words, "The stunts are definitely getting grosser and grosser each season."
Despite the fact that "Fear Factor "contestants haven eaten almost "everything there possibly is," Larsen says he's still coming up with new ideas and figures he will push the bar even higher this season.
The 100th episode of "Fear Factor" will air on NBC tonight (Nov. 8).
