PSYCHIATRISTS HAND OUT ‘SHRINKIES’ AWARDS

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash) – Good Will Hunting is not only a top Oscar contender, it’s a top pick of San Francisco’s psychiatrists, who have awarded the film something called a “Shrinkie.”

According to the San Francisco Psychoanalytic Institute, the “Shrinkies” honor films that give psychological insight as to how folks deal with mental stress and illness.

And, finally, the shrinks are giving Woody Allen’s comedy, Deconstructing Harry, a “Shrinkie” because it suggests “...he’s using neurosis in a comic manner on film to justify bad behavior in real life.”
