LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Although Brandon Cruz is best known for playing Eddie on The Courtship Of Eddie’s Father, he’s actually spent the last two decades as a punk rock singer.
Cruz is the lead singer of a L.A.-based punk rock band called Twister Naked and has just released Eddie Is A Punk, a compilation of songs he’s performed that date back to his days as Eddie.
Among the highlights on the album is a punk version of “The Courtship Of Eddie’s Father Theme Song” which features Harry Nillsson on piano.
However, the 35-year-old Cruz hasn’t given up acting entirely. This Friday (Apr. 24), he’ll be guest starring on the Fox show, Beyond Belief, with other former child stars such as Leave It To Beaver star Tony Dow.
Cruz is also an assistant film editor on the potty-mouthed animated show South Park.
