SPRING HOUSE, Penn. (Wireless Flash) – When it comes to romance, Denver, Colorado, is about as cheap as it gets.
A new survey by the Great Expectations dating service reveals that Denver is the cheapest city in America to spend a romantic weekend.
The survey factored the costs of a three-course meal at a four-star restaurant, gourmet cappuccinos, a room at a high-end resort, champagne and a dozen long-stemmed roses.
All of that cost only $268.18 in Denver.
The next least expensive cities include Raleigh, North Carolina, where the same romantic weekend costs about $276.40 and Stamford, Connecticut, where a romantic weekend goes for $277.88.
The most expensive city in America to spend a romantic weekend is Chicago: a whopping $677.32.
